Towford farm is a family run hill farm in the Scottish borders. The decision to breed fell ponies was made
in 2006 with our first purchase Marlingdyke meadowsweet arriving that same year. Our aim is to breed top quality
traditional, hardy ponies with exceptionally good conformation and temperament. We feel we are well placed to maintain
the hardiness in the breed as the farm runs from 800 - 1200 feet above sea level and is very exposed to cold biting northeast
winds with driving rain and snow in the winter months, this requires a very special animal to not only survive but thrive
in these harsh conditions and the fell pony fits the bill perfectly. Visitors are always welcome but due to our very busy
schedule we would appreciate it if you make an appointment first.Thank You
